Over The Weekend

TGIF!!! On Friday, I meet up with Juliet, Jerin and Eunice at my place and we decide to make the Portuguese egg tarts. Eh.. it's a tough task..we spent 4 hours to get it done. For the crust itself, took us 2 hours plus. The look of them is like a success..but the crust is a a bit too hard. Think is due to the wrong type of margarine we bought. Haiz..so sad.. but, the eggs fillings are nice..yeah.. and we had a lot of fun during the baking session.

On Saturday, we woke up quite late..11+ and our friends decide to go Maxim for brunch. I ate carrot cake and soya bean drink. Hehe..never thought desert got carrot cake right! haha.. After eating we then went to a "flea market". Nobody had went before and nobody knows what do they have. So, we decide to go over and take a look. Haha..everyone paid 2 bucks and get a chop on our hand and..haha..nothing really nice to buy...except a stall that sells beautiful hand knife..oww.. After sweating enough at the flea market, we then went to Frys to get our camera's accessories..Ohhh..coooling..haha.. And now, off we go to the Paradise Valley to shop around awhile before we went to a Thai restaurant for dinner..oee.. spicy..keke. After dinner, we went to the Cold Stone and bought 3 tubs of ice-cream and we went to Yimin's house for "party" haha.. It's a really fun and tiring day..haha..it had been a long time since we go out with a big group of people..haha.. 5 cars on the road..driving everwhere..haha.. and I ended the day having a fun chatting session with Lina and Sherlyne in Qian's room. Seriously..在家靠父母，在外靠朋友 is really true. Without these nice friends over here, you will get bored and go crazy..haha..
Oh...it is Sunday again.. which means, tomolo hubby got to work again lo.. Maybe Saturday too tire ba..my hubby sleep until 2+ den wake up..haha.. Today, we meet up with the big group again and we went for a movie Haha..nice, funny and shocking show! haha.. After the show, we went to Macaroni and Grill for dinner. 16 people sitting on a long table. This is a very unique restaurant. There's crayons on the table and they wrap the tables with white papers and all the guest can draw whatever they like on the table. And..haha..this is the pic my hubby draw for me. Everyone started drawing..like went back to kids time when we like to draw everywhere. Next, they serve us with Focaccia bread!! OMG..miss it so much..long time never eat..Next is our main course..Yummy.. nice taste..and lastly, they order tiramisu.. its the 2nd time i try.. oh.. it's nice..not like my 1st time..yucks.. haha.

Now, I'm looking forward to Friday. We are going to VEGAS!! Woho!! There will be a big group of us going..3 cars..about 13 of us ba..hehe.. Finally.. the first holiday trip since I reached the Desert......
