Woah.. a year had passed so quickly! Where was I last year? Haha.. we are with a big group of new friends in Vegas! And that was the 1st time I went to Vegas.
This year we had a long weekend.. off from work from Friday to Monday. But we did not go to Vegas as we just went on Memorial day. But we had a very busy, tiring and fun time in AZ.
On Friday, we went shopping at Scottsdale. But on our way there, Jason's car broke down! OMG.. the weather out there is so freaking hot.. I wan to melt liao! Really hated summer. Haha..
Haiz.. summer is spoiling all car.. Memorial day go tour..Ah chua's car air-con spoil.. Independence day is Jason's turn. Oh my..so scare to go out nowadays. We are so suay.. haha
Finally we manage to slowly drive the car to a nearby car repair shop. And we called Ah Chua to come down and "save" us. Because we got no car.. we are stuck. Haha.. luckily he had not yet went out or else haiz.. duno who can save us liao. Almost everyone is in Vegas! haha..
When ah chua reached, we went to Scottdales shop awhile and went to Olive Garden for dinner. Really enjoyed the food and services there. Hm.. due to our hungry tummy, we did not managed to make it in time for the fireworks display at Anthem. But we still went over there after dinner to grab some good deals. Guess what? My boys' shorts are only selling at US$0.99 each! which I previously paid $4.99 when it's on sale.
After the late night shopping till past midnight, we went home and get ready for tomolo's event. Haha.. all of us fell asleep (except ah chua the driver) on the way home and were unable to get to sleep when we are home. So hubby and Jason decide to go eat breakfast and went to pick up the rented car at airport. Haiz.. super hero.. never sleep whole day and whole night.
We set off at 6am from my place and off we drove to Desert Hill. Haiz.. it's such a disappointment. No good deals there..in fact so many China tourist. See them grab and snatch at the Coach, Gucci and Burberry store.. just like pasar malam on super duper sale. Make me no mood to shop at all. haiz.. only bought a few clothings for baby at OshKosh. THAT'S ALL!!
Next, we went to Ontario Mills..haiz..even worst.. went there for the sake of Abercombie and Hollister.. but no nice clothings.. such a waste of time travelling. Lastly, in order to pamper ourselves for not buying much stuffs..we decide to have a good meal before going home. We went to Hooters! haha.. munching naked chicken wings with onion rings..shiok..
For the third day (Sunday), we were so tire from the driving around yesterday..but still got to wake up.. why? No water liao!! die die must go base and take water and get some grocery. After the replenish of food and water, we went to World Buffet for dinner. Keke.. sushi again.. keke. Oh well.. what to do after dinner? Still early.. haiz.. they guys decide to go Casino.. so i go home and play my barn buddy lo.. but it's ok la.. my body is so exhausted liao.. haha.
It's the last day of holiday.. some of the guys are back from Vegas too.. so we met up around 10+ and went for dim sum. Hm..maybe it's weekday.. not much variety to eat. :(
After brunch, we went to pick up Jason's car from the "hospital" Haha.. fully recovered now.. but think Jason's heart is bleeding liao.. haiz... After getting the car.. we went to Ranch.. get some stuff..and went home. But after reaching home, Jason say wan go shopping at Chandler! Koaz.. just came back from Scottsdale..den go back that area again..but we still go la.. haha.. Well.. not a wasted trip..got myself a dress from Abercombie. Keke
Lastly, we went to Lan Tian for dinner. We ordered a whole roasted duck! Oh my.. so cheap.. $15 only! And it's so tasty!
What a tiring long weekend... though we did not go anywhere for holiday but I did enjoyed myself on this 4 days.. with the guys.. Patrick call us "the usual suspect" haha..me, hubby, Jason, Ah chua, Robin, etc.. Haha... Happy Holidays!!
