First Trip To LAS VEGAS

Finally I'm going to Vegas! Wow.. We have a big group of people.. 14 pax.. isn't alot? wahaha. Let's see.. There are... Sherlyne, Me, my hubby, Daoli, Eunice, Lina, Alan aka Tow Kay. And the guys in front are Chun Ping, Situ, Chuan Ming, Jason, Milcent and lastly, Philip with Darlene. ( In the photo above)
Early in the morning 5am, we gather at Desert Garden and off we go.. First stop is at MacDonald's eating our breakfast. The second stop is at the Hoover Dam. Oh.. it's so beautiful. After taking some photos, we den continue driving to Vegas. Finally..we had reach! The very first place we went to is the Outlets..wow..so many.. Coach, Kenneth Cole, Timberland, Puma, Guess and so much more.. but hmm.. I din buy any thing. Only got myself a sunglass from Kenneth Cole. :) Next, we went to a Penang restaurant in Chinatown. Oh.. miss my hometown. They sell alot of similar dishes..just like Penang. Haha.. just that it's a restaurant..not roadside stall..different feeling..
After eating, we then check in to our hotel. Look at this photo! That's a very big chair in my hotel room..wahaha. Oh..there's really plenty and plenty of casino. More than what I can imagine.
After taking a rest in the hotel room, we then meet up and went to the MGM Grand.. shop around and walk on the street of LV. And we went into the M&Ms Store! OMG!! It's 4 level high.. all M&Ms stuff. And I even watch the M&Ms 3D show..so real and fun. Really enjoyed it alot. keke.

Orh.. it's so tire to walk on the street.. As today is the Independence day, there will be fireworks going on. So, we stand at the staircase opposite the Bellagio.. hoping to see the fireworks. Beside the stair was a bar and there's live singers.. At that time, the singer was singing me and hubby's first song - I dun wanna miss a thing.. hehe.. so sweet. Before the fireworks starts, some of them are already hungry and decided not to wait. What a disappointment. :( So, we walk all the way back to MGM and took the car and back to Chinatown for dinner. After dinner we were all exhausted and went back to our room to sleep.

Rise and shine! It's the 2nd day morning. We had a very fulfilling breakfast at a Hongkong restaurant. Oh.. I miss dim sum so much! The dim sum are so nice..especially the yam dumplings and egg tarts..YUMMY!

After breakfast, we went to another Outlets. Again.. it's a big mall. But this is kinda better..Cos it's a air-con mall.. haha.. Cool man. Hm..got myself a hat and Coach bag. Keke.. After shopping, we went to take pictures at the LV signature sign board. Haha. So windy..

Next, we went to the Palazzo. OMG! Am I dead? This place looks like heaven to me! Seeing it with my own eyes..amazing. How can a place be so beautiful? After viewing the amazing place, we went to Todai at Planet Hollywood for Sushi & Seafood Buffet. Oh.. long time never eat sushi le. And the baked prawns are fantastic! And there's baked scallops too.. YUMMY..sooo nice.. and last of all.. not to forget the crab legs! Haha.. learnt a skill from Tow Kay..haha.. He's an expert in cracking crab legs! And also Philip. Oh my.. he's like cracking the legs throughout the whole meal! Applause!!

It's the last day at Vegas. The trip is going to end. So sad. However, we finally get to ride on the roller coaster at New York New York! From the 1st day, we had been saying wanting to ride. And everyone was daring each other to ride. Sounds like great fun..everybody is going to shout together. Who knows..another disappointment..haiz.. Only Philip, Sherlyne, Lina and me went ahead to ride. Haha..anyway.. it's still fun..though there's only 4 of us. Oh my..the speed was so fast that I couldn't open my eyes. and it's swinging and banging my head. I just can't stop shouting. It's too pain! And I got a stiff neck for few days..wahaha.. useless me.

Over The Weekend

TGIF!!! On Friday, I meet up with Juliet, Jerin and Eunice at my place and we decide to make the Portuguese egg tarts. Eh.. it's a tough task..we spent 4 hours to get it done. For the crust itself, took us 2 hours plus. The look of them is like a success..but the crust is a a bit too hard. Think is due to the wrong type of margarine we bought. Haiz..so sad.. but, the eggs fillings are nice..yeah.. and we had a lot of fun during the baking session.

On Saturday, we woke up quite late..11+ and our friends decide to go Maxim for brunch. I ate carrot cake and soya bean drink. Hehe..never thought desert got carrot cake right! haha.. After eating we then went to a "flea market". Nobody had went before and nobody knows what do they have. So, we decide to go over and take a look. Haha..everyone paid 2 bucks and get a chop on our hand and..haha..nothing really nice to buy...except a stall that sells beautiful hand knife..oww.. After sweating enough at the flea market, we then went to Frys to get our camera's accessories..Ohhh..coooling..haha.. And now, off we go to the Paradise Valley to shop around awhile before we went to a Thai restaurant for dinner..oee.. spicy..keke. After dinner, we went to the Cold Stone and bought 3 tubs of ice-cream and we went to Yimin's house for "party" haha.. It's a really fun and tiring day..haha..it had been a long time since we go out with a big group of people..haha.. 5 cars on the road..driving everwhere..haha.. and I ended the day having a fun chatting session with Lina and Sherlyne in Qian's room. Seriously..在家靠父母，在外靠朋友 is really true. Without these nice friends over here, you will get bored and go crazy..haha..
Oh...it is Sunday again.. which means, tomolo hubby got to work again lo.. Maybe Saturday too tire ba..my hubby sleep until 2+ den wake up..haha.. Today, we meet up with the big group again and we went for a movie Haha..nice, funny and shocking show! haha.. After the show, we went to Macaroni and Grill for dinner. 16 people sitting on a long table. This is a very unique restaurant. There's crayons on the table and they wrap the tables with white papers and all the guest can draw whatever they like on the table. And..haha..this is the pic my hubby draw for me. Everyone started drawing..like went back to kids time when we like to draw everywhere. Next, they serve us with Focaccia bread!! OMG..miss it so much..long time never eat..Next is our main course..Yummy.. nice taste..and lastly, they order tiramisu.. its the 2nd time i try.. oh.. it's nice..not like my 1st time..yucks.. haha.

Now, I'm looking forward to Friday. We are going to VEGAS!! Woho!! There will be a big group of us going..3 cars..about 13 of us ba..hehe.. Finally.. the first holiday trip since I reached the Desert......
