11 Days Tour In California and San Francisco (Part 4)

Day 7 (4th October 2008)


It's our last day in San Francisco.. this is really a very nice and wonderful place. Most of the roads are steep slopes.. and its really steep. Really can't bear to leave this beautiful place.
After having breakfast in the hotel, we went to Chirardelli chocolate factory. In the cafe, we saw the machine used to process chocolate. Haha..kind of dirty..cos some parts of the machine are rusty. Anyway.. think that machine is just a demo set.. dun worry.. haha.. In the shop, they offer us to try the new chocolate. Nice..

After eating chocolate, we went to the Japan Town. Haha.. it's their community day.. The have a stage and when we reach, they are giving out mochi.. green tea flavour.. hm.. not very much to my liking cos not sweet de.. haha.. Then we had lunch at one of the traditional Japan restaurant. Wow.. my hubby got a big bowl of udon le.. Haha.. because the weather is so cold thus hubby decide to eat some hot soup stuff.. but guess what? haha.. there;s no ventilation in the small restaurant. Hubby was sweating while eating.. Haha.. so funny.. act smart! Lucky I eat hot plate chicken.. So tasty and warm...

After eating full.. we went to the Golden Gate Bridge again. This time round, we can walk across the bridge as it was closed last night. Well, dun mistake.. the passage for cars are open. I'm referring to the side lanes for people to walk.


The Golden Gate Bridge, built in 1937, is a suspension bridge spanning the Golden Gate, the opening of the San Francisco Bay onto the Pacific Ocean. It connects the city of San Francisco on the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula to Marin County.

After viewing this masterpiece that took the engineers 4 years to built, we then went to Chinatown for our dinner and lastly.. drive back t o Anaheim.

Day 8 (5th October 2008)

Yeah.. we are back to explore the rest of the Universal Studios in Los Angeles!! Haha.. I managed to take a photo with my favourite SHREK!! Oh my.. some of you may say that I'm crazy.. but.. he's really so cute.. haha.. And look at the Mummy character.. koaz.. he keep chasing me and making that irritating sound.. I was made till so scared of him. I dun even dare to raise my head to look at him. Haha.. Finally we had covered the whole of Universal Studios Hollywood! Next, we had a little shopping along the Citywalk of Universal Studios..and lastly, we went to the Hard Rock to get our 3rd souvenir glass!

Time for dinner.. hm.. feel like eating Italian stuffs.. Haha.. we had planned to visit the Santa Monica Beach and just nice, there's a Italian cafe nearby. We ordered a pizza and Spaghetti!! Yummy yummy.. 4 stars for the restaurant!
Erm.. because it was night time when we went to the beach, there's nothing really easy to capture by the camera. But believe me.. the beach is really big and beautiful. Exactly as big as we saw in movies.. standing on the board..listening to the sea waves.. romantic le.. I told hubby, I would like to visit this beach again in day time before we go back to Singapore. Think next summer.. haha.. Santa Monica Beach.. wait for our return....
